Yogendra Yadav Resigns: Yogendra Yadav resigned from the United Kisan Morcha, letter issued stating the reason for resignation

New DelhiSocial activist Yogendra Yadav has resigned from the coordination committee of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM). However, he said that he will remain a frontline soldier. SKM announced Yadav’s resignation at a press conference at Gurdwara Rakabganj here. Yadav has said in the letter that he will no longer be in the coordination committee of SKM.

In his letter to SKM, Yadav said, “I will no longer be able to take up the responsibility of being a member of the coordination committee of SKM. It is imperative that the energy of all mass movements and opposition political parties be channelized to fight against the anti-farmer Modi (Narendra Modi) government. For this I am in touch with other movements apart from Kisan Andolan. He said, “In view of this priority of mine, it will not be possible for me to carry out the responsibility of the SKM coordination committee.” He said that as a member of the “Jai Kisan Andolan”, he would always remain a “soldier” of SKM.

According to the statement, SKM will observe ‘Black Day’ on October 3 in protest against the Lakhimpur Khedi incident that took place on the same day in 2021. The statement said that this day should be observed as Black Day across the country and the effigy of the central government would be blown up.
