Vivek Agnihotri angry over ‘Kashmir Files’ being shown for free, appeals to Haryana CM

Vivek Agnihotri’s viral tweet: Vivek Agnihotri is celebrating the success of his superhit film ‘The Kashmir Files’ these days. His film has so far managed to earn a total of Rs 141.5 crore, breaking several records at the box office. Given the pace of earnings of the film, it would not be wrong to say that the film will soon join the Rs 200 crore club.

There, on Sunday, Vivek Agnihotri appeared a little angry. He expressed his displeasure by tweeting. In fact, a poster was attached to Vivek’s tweet stating that the film was shot in a public place in Rewari, Haryana. ‘The Kashmir Files’ Will be shown for free. The poster stated the location as well as the time of the show.

So much so that Vivek got angry and tagged Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and wrote in his tweet, “It is a crime to show The Kashmir Files so openly. Dear Manohar Lal Khattar, I beg you to stop this. Political leaders must respect creative business and true nationalism, and social service means buying tickets in a legal and peaceful way.

Let me tell you, Vivek’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is being praised all over the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised the film. Let me tell you that some people are also targeting Vivek for this film. Following the growing controversy over the film, the government on Friday granted Y category security to Vivek Agnihotri.
