T20 World Cup: So the relationship is complete…! India got a victory here, fans got love there, this is how it was expressed in the stadium

Sydney: There is no doubt that the T20 World Cup 2022 craze is going on in the minds of cricket fans all over the world but there are also cricket fans who want to leave no stone unturned to make this occasion memorable. Just look at this couple. During the match played between India and Netherlands at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the local boy proposed to his girlfriend by keeping her on his knee and she also expressed her love by saying ‘yes’. The video of this memorable moment has been shared by ICC on the official Instagram account.

In the video, it can be seen that the desi boy proposes to his girlfriend by taking out his ring while sitting on his knees in a packed stadium. The girlfriend also laughs and says ‘yes’ and hugs her boyfriend. By watching the video, you can guess that the girlfriend was already ready for this proposal in the excitement with which she said ‘yes’. This opportunity was also very good. Thus India won and the couple found their love on the other side.

Talking about the match, after Rohit Sharma, with the help of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav’s unbeaten 51 off 25 balls, India defeated the Netherlands by 56 runs. This is his second consecutive victory in the T20 World Cup. Batting first, the Indian team scored 179 runs for two wickets, registering a miraculous victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in the previous match.

In response, the Netherlands team could score only 123 runs for 9 wickets in this ‘mismatch’ match. Captain Rohit’s knock of 53 off 39 balls set the course for the Indian innings while Kohli, who registered an improbable victory against Pakistan, scored an unbeaten 62 off 44 balls. Kohli shared an unbeaten partnership of 73 runs with Rohit for the second wicket and 95 runs with Suriya for the third wicket. KL Rahul failed for the second time in a row and could score only 9 runs in 12 balls.

Rahul was unlucky as right-arm pacer Paul van Meekeren hit his pads and appeared to be out of leg-stump but skipper Rohit refused a review. The Netherlands bowlers performed well in the powerplay and the Indian team could score only 32 runs for one wicket. After ten overs, India’s score was 67 for one, after which Surya came in and terrorized the Dutch bowlers and scored his first half-century in the World Cup. India scored 112 runs in the next ten overs.
