Nothing is going well in the Mahagathbandhan government of Bihar. If everything went well, Nitish Kumar would not have been angry. Do not hold departmental meetings without the Minister. In fact, on Saturday, Nitish Kumar held a review meeting to provide government assistance to the drought-stricken farmers, but Agriculture Minister Sudhakar Singh was not present in this meeting. In such a situation, the question arises whether the Minister of Agriculture was not invited in the meeting or Sudhakar Singh did not come despite being invited?
Let it be known that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called a review meeting to provide government help to drought-affected farmers. In this meeting of the Chief Minister, Secretary of Agriculture Department N. Saravan Kumar was present, but Minister Sudhakar Singh was not present in the meeting. While Disaster Management Minister Shahnawaz Alam was present. According to the information, Nitish Kumar held a review meeting of the Disaster and Agriculture Department. The Minister and Secretary of Disaster Department attended the meeting. Along with this, the Agriculture Department was reviewed in the absence of the Agriculture Minister.
The Agriculture Secretary explained the drought situation in the state and how the state government has helped the affected farmers. He said that 62 crore rupees have been distributed as diesel subsidy to the farmers who are suffering from drought. According to the Agriculture Secretary, 12 types of seeds are also being given to the farmers. Till now about three lakh farmers have been given crop seeds. According to the Agriculture Secretary, diesel subsidy has been given to four lakh farmers so far.
It may be mentioned that Agriculture Minister Sudhakar Singh had raised his voice against the widespread corruption in the Agriculture Department. While addressing farmers in Kaimur, Sudhakar Singh had said that the entire department is a thief and he is the patron of thieves. Not only this, the agriculture minister has also declared Nitish Kumar’s agriculture policy useless. Along with this, there was a debate between Sudhakar Singh and Nitish Kumar on this issue in the Nitish Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. After this, the Minister of Agriculture threatened to resign. However, Sudhakar Singh has denied this.
