Shooting at Maharishi Dayanand University of Rohtak, four injured

Rohtak: Four people were injured in the firing at Maharishi Dayanand University in Haryana’s Rohtak on Saturday evening. The injured have been admitted to PGIMS Rohtak, Rohtak. According to PGIMS police station SHO Pramod Gautam, a youth in one car fired shots at another car, following which a ruckus broke out. According to the police, the reason behind the incident is yet to be known. On the other hand, the security officer of Maharishi Dayanand University says that there was a dispute between two groups over the transaction of money and during this firing took place.

Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya had a program at Maharishi Dayanand University today. As soon as Bandaru Dattatreya came out of the Maharishi Dayanand University, the library and gate number 1 after about 20 minutes of exiting, sharp-edged weapons opened fire, in which four youths, namely Kuldeep, Sushil, Vijit, were seriously injured. and Harsha are said to Two of the injured are residents of village Asan in Rohtak and two are residents of village Dubdhan and Kheri Asra in Jhajjar. Some were shot in the head and some in the hand. The four were taken to PGI, from where relatives took them to a private hospital.

The police have found out in the investigation that the accused had come in two vehicles. One of them hit a pole near the number gate. After this, the attackers escaped in another vehicle.
