Political crisis, doubt on the President, dissatisfaction in G-23, the way out of the journey of Congress?

New Delhi: Congress, which ruled the country for 70 years after independence, is now in the background. The party which had the presence of leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi is now yearning to come to power at the Centre. The alam is that no new president is getting after Rahul Gandhi left office. Apart from this, the leaders of their own party have also come down on rebellion. Apart from senior leaders of the party, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Kapil Sibal, youth leaders like spokesperson Jayveer Shergill and before him Jyotiraditya Scindia have bid farewell to the party. Party leaders raised their voice against Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently left the Congress. After Rahul’s name appeared in the resignation letter, how many Congressmen got angry. Azad, who till yesterday was revered by the party, is now said to have modified his DNA.

Amidst all this, Congress is going to start Bharat Joko Yatra from September 7. It will involve 117 leaders, starting from Kanyakumari and ending in Kashmir. Looking at the late running Congress, it seems that it is not affected by the rebellion of the G-23 leaders. Has the ED probe against Sonia Rahul triggered the party’s active mode? The battle that the party is now fighting against inflation, unemployment, could not have been done earlier. There are many questions that are emerging in the minds of political experts during this period.

Add India travel will blow life?
Congress’ Bharat Joko Yatra will begin from September 7. It will start from Kanyakumari and end this journey by going to Kashmir. The 150-day trip will cover 12 states and 2 Union Territories. 117 leaders are said to be involved in it. Big leaders like Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera, youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar, Digvijay Singh will walk step by step with Rahul Gandhi. The journey up to 3500 km will be completed on foot. The message of Congress from this visit is clear that it is in a mood to follow the ideology of BJP and Sangh. Apart from this, she wants to connect with the people who are fighting against rising inflation and unemployment in the country. Congress is eyeing 2024 general elections as the party has been out of power for 8 years.

The crisis on the existence of the Congress and the edge of the party leaders
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Kerala today i.e. Saturday. Here he directly attacked the Communist Party including the Congress. If we talk about Congress, let’s talk about it. Shah said in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram that the Congress is disappearing from the country. If anyone has a future in Kerala, it is the BJP. BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Patra today held a press conference and once again jinxed the National Herald. Referring to Chandrababu Naidu’s book, Congress leader and 4-time CM of UP. Patra said his book proves that the National Herald was founded to serve the Gandhi family.

Madhusudan Mistry’s direct reply to the Congress leaders ‘There is no question of making the electoral list public’
Such statements are constantly coming from the BJP, in which the future of the party is questioned. On the other hand, such questions get more force when the leaders of their own party sound the trumpet of rebellion from within. Congress has another problem. So far, those who left the oppression of the Congress and joined the BJP or any other party, the party could not persuade them to leave. The current Chief Minister of Assam, Himant Biswa Sarma himself has admitted that if Rahul Gandhi had listened to him instead of giving biscuits to the dog that day, the picture would have been different. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who served as the Union Minister in the Modi government, was among the leaders of Madhya Pradesh who appealed, then what happened, displeasure with Kamal Nath brought down the government. The reason why former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh left the party was only because Sonia Gandhi did not listen to him and her rivalry with Sidhu played the whole game. Currently Captain has formed a new party which has an alliance with BJP. Many leaders like Kuldeep Bishnoi, Javeer Shergill, Kapil Sibal have left the party due to various reasons.

Congress does not want to learn
If we look at history, it is not that Congress has never lost. The party lost in the state and at the center but then bounced back. Tasted power for 15 years in Madhya Pradesh, 5 years in Rajasthan and 15 years in Chhattisgarh. Once it seemed that Congress was making a comeback but after a few months we all know what happened in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra (in alliance). There is always danger in Jharkhand and Rajasthan. The problem with Congress is that it doesn’t learn or doesn’t want to learn. Even the ouster of several strong leaders from the party does not lead the party to change, on the contrary it raises a question mark. Congress should at least learn from the current Modi government, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the tag of not losing a single election. The party has started preparations for 2024 under the leadership of national president JP Nadda.

Kerala and Telangana, despite not being strongholds, are looking for potential there. Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal has started preparations for Himachal and Gujarat elections. They are addressing the people from place to place, counting the shortcomings and weaknesses of the BJP, but on the other hand, if we look at the Congress, it is trying to keep its own people away from these elections. Congress has to understand that elections are not won by election promises made from forums when the date of elections is near. We have seen this in Uttar Pradesh general elections and before that in 2019.

Why fight against inflation and unemployment now… It is not too late
However, Congress is now seen raising its voice against inflation and unemployment. Party workers under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi were seen opposing it on the streets. Many leaders including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were seen protesting against the Modi government in Delhi. However, at the same time, the ED’s interrogation of Sonia and Rahul in the National Herald case has also given many Congressmen an opportunity to protest. The attitude of Sonia and Rahul at that time was worth watching. The date of August 5 will be remembered. Everyone saw Congress’s uproar against inflation, unemployment and GST. The party has got the energy to fight against the Modi government. The march went from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan. There was also a program to surround the Prime Minister’s house but it could not happen. This raises the question why the Congress is now seeing inflation and unemployment. Is this the result of the disillusionment of the G-23 leaders saying goodbye to the party?

Why can’t Congress think outside the Gandhi family?
It is true that many people from the Gandhi family were sitting on the post of Prime Minister of the country. These included Pandit Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. The post of party president is rarely held by anyone other than a non-Gandhi family. Another thing is being seen in the Congress that it is not able to choose the new president post in the meeting of CWC i.e. Congress Working Committee. One of the reasons for this, which is seen, is that a section of the Congress still wants to see Rahul Gandhi as the President. Due to this insistence, the message is being sent outside the party that the party still does not see anyone above the Gandhi family as president. Although Rahul Gandhi has already made it clear that he does not want to return to the post, say the insistence of several leaders or the Congress is still looking for a new face.

On the other hand, many people believe that putting Rahul Gandhi in the field against Modi is also not liked by other opposition parties. The lack of unity in the grand alliance also strengthens the Modi government. The reason is that there are many people in this Mahagathbandhan, whose eyes are on the Prime Minister’s chair. These include Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal etc. In such a situation, after many failures of Congress, Rahul’s forward also weakens the fight.
