Mumbai. ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’, ‘M.S. Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, who became famous with films like Dhoni: The Untold Story, is coming up with a new show called Khaki: The Bihar Chapter. It will be a streaming show based on the true story of the capture of Bihar’s most dangerous criminal. The serial is the story of the struggle between two men on opposite sides of the law – one is a dreaded gang leader and the other is Amit Lodha, a very honest officer of the Indian Police Service.
The show will soon be coming to OTT platform Netflix. This will be Neeraj Pandey’s first show on Netflix. She has previously worked with Disney Plus Hotstar in shows like ‘Special Ops’. On Netflix and his upcoming series, Neeraj said in a statement, “I am very excited to announce Friday Storytellers’ partnership with Netflix for our upcoming series ‘Khaaki – The Bihar Chapter’.” Let us tell you, Friday Story Tailors is the name of his production banner.
Sharing this teaser video, Neeraj wrote, “Give a glimpse of the fruits of our hard work”. Sharing a glimpse of the story of the series, he said, “This thriller is a story of Bihar in the early 2000s that we wanted to create and share. With the help of Bhav Dhulia and my partner Sheetal Bhatia, we have tried to bring it to life.
The shooting took place during Corona
The show was shot under extreme conditions amid several waves of Covid in Jharkhand and Bihar, and featured Karan Thacker, Avinash Tiwari, Ashutosh RanaRavi Kishan, Anup Soni, Jatin Sarna, Nikita Dutta, Abhimanyu Singh, Aishwarya Sushmita and Shraddha Das will be seen playing powerful characters.
The series is produced by Friday Storytellers and directed by Bhav Dhulia. The story of this series is written by Uma Shankar.
