“We all know that for the last five years, public awareness programs have been running across the country on population stability,” Yogi said. Population on a certain scale is also an achievement of the society, but this achievement is only when the society can achieve the state of health and wellness. India will overtake China in terms of population by 2023. Union Minister Giriraj Singh Chouhan on Monday also advocated for population law. Singh, who represents Bihar’s Begusarai Lok Sabha seat, lamented that in the last three decades, India had lagged behind China in terms of economic growth but lagged behind its neighbor in terms of population growth.
