Riley Rosso, in particular, has completely distorted Mattie McKiernan’s line length. In the match, Rosov scored 34 runs in one over from McKiernan. He hit five sixes and a four. McKiernan was completely disappointed with the explosive batting against him but the batsman showed no mercy. What was even more disappointing for McKiernan was that despite conceding 82 runs, he did not get a single wicket in the match.
Before Matty McKiernan, the record for most runs in a four-over spell in a T20I was held by Sarmad Anwar, who scored 81 runs in a four-over spell in a match in 2011.
