Mahesh praised Marathi films but also said that Marathi cinema also needs to breathe like Kannada cinema. What pleases me the most is that they didn’t make both parts of KGF in Hindi, but made it in Kannada, dubbed it in Hindi and then dumped it on the audience!

Marathi cinema also asked to support

Mahesh Manjrekar further said that he envies the makers of KGF film and he wants to do the same in Marathi films. He said that we can shout that Marathi cinema is great. He has no shortage of talent. There is a dearth of people who can understand the vision of Marathi filmmakers. It is important that we also grow up budget Make movies.
