Addressing a public meeting in Dargai tehsil of Malakand district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Imran Khan said, “I am ready to pardon the rebel MPs of my party and bring them back to the party.” He said that the whole country would understand that the MPs had sold their conscience by voting in favor of the thieves. It will be difficult for you to get married. People will not marry your children when they grow up.
Imran Khan praises India
Khan said that even Allah forgives His slaves. I am like a father to all of you but for the sake of Allah don’t make such a big mistake. Think about the future of your children. In this Jan Sabha, Imran Khan praised India. “I salute India’s foreign policy,” he said. India has always pursued an independent foreign policy. Today, India is also at loggerheads with the United States and is buying oil from Russia despite sanctions because its foreign policy is for its people.
Khan’s toughest political test
A meeting of the National Assembly will be convened on Friday to consider the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan. This will be the toughest political test for Imran since taking over as Prime Minister in 2018. National Assembly Speaker Asad Kaiser announced on Sunday that the House would convene on March 25 (Friday) to consider a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister. About 100 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party MPs had on March 8 passed a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly Secretariat.
The session was called for 11 a.m. Friday
The resolution alleges that the Imran-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is responsible for the economic crisis and inflation in the country. The National Assembly Secretariat issued a notification on Sunday clarifying the situation regarding the important session. The Opposition had demanded that the session be convened by March 21 as per legal requirements. According to the notification, “the session will begin at 11 am on Friday and will be the 41st session of the current National Assembly.”
