‘Discrimination’ stopped in Team India, Women’s team will get match fee equal to Rohit Sena, BCCI’s historic announcement

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made a big announcement during the toss of the match between India and Netherlands on Thursday. The board has equalized the match fee in both categories while ending the gender inequality in Team India. That is, the players of Team India and Rohit Sharma-led women’s team will get equal match fee in all the three formats. This information was given by the secretary of the board Jai Shah on Twitter.

He wrote about the historic decision – the women’s section will be paid the same match fee as their men’s team. Test (15 lakh), ODI (6 lakh), T20I (3 lakh). Wage equity was my commitment to our women cricketers and I thank the Apex Council for their support. Jai Hind

Along with this, the Indian Cricket Board has given a big message to the World Cricket Team. It became the second board to pay equal match fees to women and men cricketers. Earlier, New Zealand had taken this historic decision in July this year. After that, it was expected that cricket boards around the world would also adopt it.

What will be the effect of this decision?
This revolutionary decision will have a direct impact on women’s cricket. Now not only will it get a quick boost, but it will also end the dominance of men in cricket. Earlier, the BCCI had also announced the launch of the Women’s Indian Premier League.
