The old record of lighting lamps in Deep Utsav 2022 held on Sunday evening in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh has been broken. Preparations were made to light about 15 lakh lamps at the feet of Ram. The final figure of 15 lakh 76 thousand has come out. Thus once again Deep Utsav 2022 has entered the Guinness Book of World Records. Earlier, a record of lighting 12 lakh lamps was made in the year 2021. Deep Utsav has been setting new records every year since its inception in 2017. Once again, the team of Guinness Book has registered Deep Utsav in the record book.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended Deep Utsav 2022 in Ayodhya. During this, it was claimed to light about 15 lakh lamps at the feet of Ram. It has been said that 17 lakh lamps will be lit including all the ghats of Ayodhya. Ayodhya made the Deep Utsav grand and divine in front of PM Modi by lighting 15 lakh 76 thousand lamps.
Deep Utsav was organized in Ayodhya on Sunday evening. The city of Lord Shri Ram was lit up with clay lamps. In the light of the lamp, it felt like heaven had descended on the banks of Saryu. The illumination of 17 lakh lamps presented a unique sight in the entire Ramnagari. Along with this, 15 lakh 76 thousand burning lamps on the banks of Saryu river burnt the old world record.
A new record was created in Ayodhya. A team from the Guinness Book of World Records was also present in Ayodhya to witness the Deep Utsav celebration. The lights had to be lit for at least five minutes for the world record. This event was made successful with the support of about 22 thousand volunteers. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been awarded a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records after lighting more than 15 lakh earthen lamps. Governor Anandi Ben Patel was also present in the Deep Utsav.
