BJP’s special plan for Mission 2024, 78 thousand booths are being monitored like this

New Delhi:Bharatiya Janata Party’s preparations for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 have started. This time BJP’s focus is more on those states and those seats, where the party could not perform well in the previous elections. The party’s national president JP Nadda held a meeting with the party’s general secretaries on Thursday. The meeting of the party president with the general secretaries is held every month but this time the booth was discussed in the meeting. Recently BJP has identified more than 78 thousand such polling booths where BJP is weak. More than 30 new members are being added in these booths. A committee was formed to strengthen the party at such booths which has started its work. Union ministers as well as party MPs are also engaged in this work.

In the meeting held by the party’s national president with the general secretaries of the BJP, the progress of the work at those booths was discussed. The first phase of the polling booth strengthening program ended on August 31. Meanwhile, the party has prepared a detailed report on each of these booths, the polling pattern of the last three elections and how many votes the BJP got. This will make it easier to plan for the party.

In this work, MPs were given 100 booths each, while MLAs have been given the responsibility of 25 booths each. Union Ministers have been entrusted with the responsibility of certain states where they will look after such constituencies. Party workers appointed by MPs visited all such booths and interacted with voters. Then he uploaded his report on a special software called ‘Saral’.

Before posting the report, the OTP received on the MP-in-charge’s mobile phone will have to be filled. After this the data will be updated from state to central level. During the meeting on Thursday, the leaders expressed satisfaction over the completion of data uploading in several states. Some states like Rajasthan have some work remaining, which will be completed in September. States like UP and Bihar have already moved to the next stage, where senior leaders are now visiting these booths and interacting directly with voters.
