Arif Mohammad Khan: Governor seeks resignation of vice chancellors of 9 Kerala universities, Arif Khan in action

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has demanded the resignation of the vice chancellors of nine universities in the state. The action comes in the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent order quashing the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of APJ Abdul Kalam University of Technology in violation of UGC norms. On behalf of the Raj Bhavan, a tweet said that upholding the Supreme Court’s verdict, the Governor has directed the resignation of the vice-chancellors of 9 universities. He has asked to submit his resignation by 11:30 on Monday.

On Sunday, the Kerala Raj Bhavan on behalf of the Governor said in a tweet that APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Vice Chancellor is also among the nine Vice Chancellors.
