After Mehbooba Mufti’s tweet on Rishi Sunak, BJP asked whether it would accept a minority as Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir.

New Delhi: Indian-origin Rishi Sunak will be the Prime Minister of Britain and many opposition leaders in India are asking if the same is possible in India. Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Mehbooba Mufti said that Britain has accepted a minority as its Prime Minister. At the same time, we are still bound by divisive and discriminatory laws like NRC and CAA. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that we are celebrating this achievement of Indian culture but honestly ask if it can happen here.
